BJYM PROTESTS AGAINST KERALA GOVT
The Telangana unit of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) on Tuesday protested against the brutal lathicharge, teargas and water cannons against BJYM activists outside the Kerala secretariat. Led by BJYM state vice-president P.M. Sai, BJYM and ABVP activists lending support to their Kerala counterparts held a protest at the CPM office at RTC crossroads. Addressing the media, the BJYM leader said that along with ABVP activists, they were protesting against the Pinarayi Vijayan government, which has refused to extend tenure of rank list of candidates selected by the Kerala State Public Service Commission.
He said that rank list holders have been on a protest for the last two weeks to draw the attention of the LDF government in Kerala, which has refused to accede to their demands.
He alleged that the CPM was illegally regularising hundreds of party cadres, working as temporary employees in many government departments and State PSUs. Mr Sai said that BJYM will not allow a backdoor entry for CPM cadre when meritorious candidates are waiting for jobs. He warned the CPM not to test the patience of the youth.
The British Deputy High Commissions of Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad jointly organised the first South India Energy Conclave on Tuesday bringing together corporates, industry experts and senior government officials from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

Srikanth Nagulapalli IAS, Principal Secretary – Energy, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Sandeep Kumar Sultania IAS, Principal Secretary Energy, Government of Telangana participated in a panel discussion on clean energy transition. They outlined the measures and commitments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana respectively in promoting clean energy in their states.
