E rstwhile designer Divya Reddy, who shot to prominence after a Big Bang show at Lakme Fashion Week some years back is again in the news. She’s had somewhat of a makeover, ditched the designer dreams and is now eyeing politics, one hears on the grapevine. The rumor has gathered strength thanks to Divya releasing a video where she attacks the government and other institutions on the lax state of affairs and the poor handling of the Covid second wave. With simple, pulled back hair and an ordinary silk saree, she waxed eloquent in traditional Telugu, impressing many of her friends online.

D elhi-based socialites Shalini and Sanjay Passi were in town recently, post a trip to Tirupati where the couple donated Rs 10 crore. Shalini is a regular on the global art and fashion scene and her husband owns and runs PASCO automobiles, dealers for Suzuki cars among other things.
