ARUNA SALUTES MODI’S SEVEN ‘FRUITFUL’ YEARS

- DC CORRESPONDENT

BJP national vice-president D.K. Aruna on Sunday said that ‘the silent warrior’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi would lead the country towards a $5 trillion economy and propel the country to the top position in the world. She said the steps being taken up by him have helped in the Covid-19 positive cases coming down steadily.

In a statement marking Modi’s completion of seven years in office as PM, she said that the country has seen great transformation in the past seven years and the momentum would continue into the future. Aruna said that Modi paved the way for resolving the Ram mandir issue amicably. Equally historic was the decision to abrogate Article 370, which gave special status to Kashmir. Similarly, abrogation of triple talaq enhanced the esteem of woman while the Citizenship Amendment Act has helped check infiltrations into the country, she said.

The party vice-president said that replacing Indian Medical Council of India with National Medical Commission will usher in reforms in the medical sector.

She said that reservations to economically weaker sections will help the poor from upper castes and the Farm Acts will improve the economic condition of farmers.
