BJP PROBING CHARGES AGAINST KCR DURING UPA REGIME: BANDI
BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar disclosed that Bharatiya Janata Party is inquiring into allegations against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao when the latter was union minister during the UPA regime.
“KCR can go to jail at any time. We have a strategy on when he must be sent to jail,” he declared in a chat with media on Wednesday. Sanjay announced that key documents related to Sahara and ESI scam wherein KCR faced allegations are being examined since last 10 days.
He further stated that their legal team is also inquiring into corrupt activities of TRS ministers and MLAs. It has filed RTI petitions on involvement of these people in issues like land grabbing and settlements in their jurisdictions.
On Eatala Rajender, the BJP state president said the senior TRS leader will join the Bharatiya Janata Party in another week. According to his party's rules, Eatala will have to resign from TRS before joining the BJP. Legal advice is being taken in this regard.
Sanjay said the TRS leader will meet BJP national general secretary (organisational) Santosh for discussions with regard to his resignation from the State Legislative Assembly.
The state BJP president clarified that Etala is joining the BJP without the party giving him any assurances. He is choosing to join BJP because of its ideology and belief in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Bandi Sanjay condemned as “fake” news on social media and asserted that his party will have no tie up with TRS in future. He underlined that BJP will continue its agitation against failures of KCR government in the state.
