Collectors told to get collectorates ready
Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is all set to soon embark on tours of 12 newly formed districts for inaugurating the new integrated collectorate complexes constructed there.
Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Saturday held a video conference with collectors of various districts. He issued them instructions to keep the new collectorate complexes ready for inauguration within a week.

confirmed, the CS informed collectors to be prepared for inauguration of the collectorate complexes any time.
The Chief Secretary also spoke to collectors of seven districts, where the state Cabinet had recently approved establishment of government medical colleges. He directed collectors to identify suitable land parcels for setting up the medical colleges. He asked them to speed up the process as the government wants to lay foundation for new medical colleges and launch their construction by July.
The Cabinet had on May 30 approved setting up of medical colleges in Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Mancherial, Jagtial, Sangareddy, Mahbubnagar and Kothagudem. Each college is estimated to cost nearly `700 crore, with the total project involving an expenditure of nearly `5,000 crore.
The state government’s aim is to make these new medical colleges operational from academic year 2022–23.
