TPCC chief: People vexed with TRS rule

People leaving TRS, KCR’s true nature revealed: Revanth

- HYDERABAD, JULY 21

Telangana Congress president and MP A. Revanth Reddy said people of the state are vexed with TRS rule.

“Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has ignored aspirations of Telangana people, who have fought for separate statehood. He is only focusing on his political interests since past seven years. With this, people have realised his true colours,” Revanth said.

Ahead of Chalo Raj Bhavan programme on Thursday, he said having realised Chandrashekar Rao’s real nature, various sections of people, including Telangana movement leaders, have decided to leave the TRS. Youth who had participated in the separate

state movement hoping for jobs, have not yet found any employment. They too are unhappy.

Telangana Minimum Wages Board chairman Sama Venkat Reddy, who also spoke on the occasion, said he had been working with Chandrasekhar Rao right since the inception of TRS party. “We have lost hope that KCR will do any justice, particularly to the youth. The CM has also not kept his promise of reserving 70 percent jobs in private sector for locals,” Venkat Reddy pointed out.

Revanth Reddy said he has informed AICC Telangana in-charge Manickam Tagore that Venkat Reddy has expressed his willingness to resign from ruling TRS and join the Congress party.

The TPCC chief also demanded resignation of union home minister Amit Shah on snooping charges. “Sedition cases should be registered against those involved in snooping through Pegasus,” he said.
