CONGRESS SET FOR MEGA DANDORA AT INDRAVELLI

The state Congress is making arrangemen­ts for the successful 40day dalit and tribal dandora in Indravelli on August 9, which is also celebrated as Internatio­nal Tribals Day.

TPCC working president T. Jayaprakas­h ‘Jagga’ Reddy on Thursday constitute­d coordinati­on committees for 18 Assembly constituen­cies in erstwhile Adilabad, Karimnagar and Nizamabad districts.

Legislator Seethakka, Podem Veeraiah, T. Narsa Reddy, Dr Vamshi Krishna, Rammohan Reddy, Balu Naik, Eravathri Anil, Ramulu Naik, and Sircilla Rajaiah will be in-charges for the committees, while former MLC Premsagar Rao is working at the fieldlevel to make the meeting a successful one.

Meanwhile, continuing an ongoing trend, TRS and BJP leaders of undivided Adilabad district joined the Congress party, including Khanapur agricultur­e market committee chairman Narsaiah, apart from MPP vicepresid­ents, sarpanches and MPTC members. Adivasi legend Kumram Bheem’s grandson Sone Rao met TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad and extended his support for the Dandora.
