“Basing on the complaint, the police started an investigation and found a witness to the allegation. Bairu Venkanna and Harish, who were arrested, agreed to kill Tulluri Srinivasa Rao”, the inspector said.

There are differences among Srinivasa Rao and Madhava Rao over a land to the extent of 10 acres in Koyalachalaka in survey number of 198 and 194 in Raghunadhapalem mandal.

Srinivasa Rao lodged a complaint against the real estate venture of Madhava Rao in Khammam. In the complaint, Srinivasa Rao, who worked as stringer in a vernacular daily, alleged that Madhava Rao occupied roads in the venture and made double registrations to the sellers. Following that, a case was filed and Madhava Rao was sent to jail.
