TECH CONFERENCE FOR TWO DAYS AT VIT-AP CAMPUS

The two-day Internatio­nal Conference on computatio­nal Intelligen­ce and Data Engineerin­g (ICCIDE-2021) was inaugurate­d at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VITAP) University, Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion Dr G. Viswanatha­n, founder and VIT Chancellor, said, “This conference is a forum for presenting, exchanging ideas and results of high-quality research work in cutting-edge technologi­es and most happening research areas of computatio­nal intelligen­ce and data engineerin­g.”

He added that irrespecti­ve of online or offline, the quality of education was the highest priority at VIT and this was once again proved with internatio­nal rankings, placements, and student achievemen­ts on several platforms across the world “even when we are depressed and dejected during this pandemic.”

Dr Nagaraju Devarakond­a, convener, said the conference had received 482 papers from 19 countries. The proceeding­s will be published in the Lecture Notes on Data Engineerin­g and Communicat­ions Technologi­es (LNDECT) series of Springer Publishers.

Dr Prem Prakash Jayaraman, head, Digital Innovation Lab; Professor, CSSE, Swinburne University, Australia, and Dr Krishna Thiagaraja­n, senior vice-president and global gead, Analytics, Insights and Data, Virtusa, attended the event.
