Covid cases up in 13 TS districts
KARIMNAGAR HAS been a zone of concern for some weeks now for the state health department with cases going up and down indicating a running battle between Covid-19 and people.
Proving that nothing can be taken for granted, even remotely, with respect to
Covid-19 and its spread, Telangana state reported
364 fresh cases of the disease on Saturday, a slight increase from the 359 cases reported on Friday.
While 13 of the 33 districts reported a rise in cases, ranging between one and 15, four districts — Yadadri Bhongir, Warangal Rural, Vikarabad, and Jogulamba Gadwal — reported the same number of cases as on Friday. The rest reported fewer cases than Friday.
While there was a marginal increase from 74 to
76 cases in the GHMC area, the largest increase came from Karimnagar district which reported 44 cases, 15 more than Friday. Karimnagar has been a zone of concern for some weeks now for the state health department with cases going up and down indicating a running battle between
Covid-19 and people. On Friday, Karimnagar reported 29 cases, preceded by 45 on Thursday, 46 on Wednesday, 54 on Tuesday, 32 on Monday, and 30 on Sunday last.
