Komatireddy: TRS MLAs eye `20l/day

- DC CORRESPONDENT HYDERABAD, SEPT.

Bhuvanagiri’s Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy alleged that minister Jagadish Reddy and TRS MLAs ignored the problems of people and adopted a single point agenda of “minting money from illegal sand reaches and real estate rackets.”

“Some TRS leaders are unable to sleep if they do not get a minimum daily income of `20 lakh from such rackets,” he told the media at Arvapally village in Jajireddygudem mandal of Suryapet district.

Venkat Reddy noted that Jagadish Reddy and several TRS MLAs had led a hand-to-mouth existence. In recent times, they have amassed properties worth hundreds of crores, he alleged. He said the Congress party will come to power in 2023 and inquire into all the corrupt deals the of TRS leaders. Reddy, who sharply attacked the TRS government, said if chief minister K. Chandr-ashekar Rao is sincere about the welfare of Dalits, he should implement the Dalit Bandhu scheme all over the state or in all the SC/ST reserved assembly constituencies in the state. He should not limit it to one or two constituencies. “KCR had duped Dalits by promising the CM post and three acres of land. Either Madiga or Mala MLAs were ignored in the matter of giving ministerial berths in the first and second cabinets of the TRS even as both the communities have a 30 lakh population.” Now, with the aim of defeating Etala Rajender, the CM allocated `2,000 crore for the Dalit Bandhu scheme. KCR has promised to issue 50,000 job notifications during the Nagarjunasagar byelection, but ignored it after the TRS victory there, he said. The Congress MP said they will bring all irregularities of the TRS men to the notice of people.
