Soundarya’s throwback DP catches attention
In the midst of the ripples created by the news of the split-up of Aishwarya and Dhanush, many netizens were struck by the new Twitter DP of Aishwarya’s sister Soundarya.
Rajinikanth’s younger daughter replaced her earlier DP with a childhood photo featuring both sisters with their father. The photo shows Rajini clasping Aishwarya and Soundarya.
The change was made hours after Dhanush and Aishwarya issued similar statements on social media late on Monday night, to announce that they
were separating after 18 years of marriage.
The Superstar has been praised by netizens for raising his two daughters to take life decisions on their own.
"Great father who raised his kids to take bold decisions when it is needed. Stay strong sister .. take care of your sister, her kids and your parents" wrote one social media user.
A netizen named Nayanthara 369 wrote, “Stay strong sir #rajinikanth. This is second time for you.”
Rajini Fans Germany posted a picture of Rajini and wrote, “Feel so bad for this man,” with a crying emoji.

Atweet uploaded by Dhanush’s brother director Selvaraghavan on December 3rd is trending now with various kinds of reactions from fans who believe that he posted that tweet for his brother. Now that Dhanush and Aishwarya announced their divorce, fans contend that it was directed at his brother.
Selva’s tweet in Tamil which roughly translates as , “Please don’t take a decision while you are in the peak of agony. Leave it for two days, eat well and take proper rest. After two days, the problem would have disappeared or you will be in a right state of mind to take a decision”
