Farooque CA win Under 15 tournament with ease

Farooque’s Cricket Academy won the U-15 Pan India Academies Premier League cricket tournament organised by MSK Prasad’s International Cricket Academy here.

The Visakhapatnam side defeated Just Cricket Academy from Bangalore by eight wickets in the final.

Opting to bat, JCA were bundled out for a paltry 53, thanks to fine bowling by M. Bhanu Swaroop, who returned with fantastic figures of 3.5-1-2-5. He was well supported by Paila Shyam Dinesh, who took three wickets while conceding 20 runs. Farooque’s Cricket Academy overhauled the target in 14.5 overs with much to spare.

Earlier in the semifinals, FCA beat Gowtham Cricket Academy by two wickets while JCA silenced Sudhir Cricket Academy by four wickets.
