House en route KCR’s farmhouse damaged in widening

Congress leaders came forward to reconstruc­t a house of Yellavva of Laxmapur village in Muduchinth­alapally mandal as the house was partially damaged while widening the road to Chief Minister K. Chandrashe­kar Rao’s farmhouse in Erravalli.

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president A. Revanth Reddy visited the house of Yellavva during the Rachabanda programme recently. He demanded that the government reconstruc­t the house within a week, otherwise the Congress would do the same.

Reacting to the TPCC chief ’s demand, minister Ch. Malla Reddy dared

the Congress leaders to reconstruc­t the house. “Revanth Reddy has lot of money. He can take up the reconstruc­tion work,” the minister said.

Harivardha­n Reddy conducted Bhumi Puja ceremony at the hands of Kavitha, daughter-in-law of Yellavva. He said that they will complete the reconstruc­tion work in three months at an estimated cost of `10 lakh.

Speaking to reporters, Harivardha­n Reddy said that TPCC chief directed them to immediatel­y take up reconstruc­tion work. Minister Malla Reddy behaved inhumanly towards the victim, he criticised. Medchal district Congress committee president Nandikanti Sridhar and other senior leaders will visit Laxmapur to complete the works, he said.

Yellavva expressed happiness with the Congress leaders helping her. She said after demolition of the house, they were unable to live there. The road height increased abnormally and affected us adversely, she said. Congress leaders said that Revanth Reddy will attend the house warming ceremony of Yellavva soon.
