HEALTH PROFILE LISTS IN SIRCILLA, MULUGU ENDS

- DC CORRESPONDENT HYDERABAD, JUNE 9

The state government has completed the pilot project to create a digital health profile of Mulugu and Sircilla districts.

As part of the exercise, blood samples were collected from citizens, while tests and health check-ups were conducted.

Data on a total of 30 health indicators including height, weight, blood pressure, sugar, haemoglobin level, cataract check, oxygen pulse rate, lipid profile, liver function, thyroid was collected and compiled.

A temporary lab has been set up at Eturnagaram in Mulugu district to analyse the samples. After the completion of blood analysis, the person will be notified via an SMS to download the information from the mobile app.

Then his or her health information can be downloaded directly on the phone.

Health Minister T. Harish Rao said the Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare should review whether information on their blood samples is received by individuals within 24 hours of the test. After analysing the blood samples, those who are not in good health should be identified and steps should be taken to send a message on their phones that they can consult a doctor.

A health profile card will be issued to each person upon completion of the health profile, he added.
