On one such occasion, he discussed the Indian Space Research Organization’s (ISRO) Mars Orbiter Mission. He claimed that the Hindu calendar, Panchang, aided ISRO in launching a rocket into space.
TM Krishna, a singer and activist, took to Twitter and shared a video of Madhavan’s speech, tagging ISRO and asking why the
vital information that Maddy claims isn't mentioned on their website. “Disappointed that @isro has not published this vital information on their website Time to also consider a Mars Panchangam!” he wrote.
