TRAFFIC CURBS ISSUED FOR BJP MEET

The Cyberabad Traffic police issued an advisory on arrangemen­ts made for the parking of vehicles around HICC during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.

The police has also planned traffic diversions to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles.

“Offices located between Kavuri Hills to Kothaguda Junction, Hitech City MMTS station to IKEA Rotary may stagger their work timings accordingl­y or may conduct their work from home to avoid inconvenie­nce,” said the officials.

Suggesting alternate routes, they said that traffic from Neeru’s Junction towards Kothaguda Junction and Gachibowli Junction may take a diversion at COD Junction via Durgam Cheruvu – Inorbit – ITC Kohinoorik­ea – Biodiversi­ty – Gachibowli and vice versa and avoid Cyber Towers Junction and Hitex Junction.

“Likewise, traffic from Miyapur, Kothaguda, Hafeezpet areas towards Hitec city – Cyber Towers – Jubilee Hills may use Rolling Hills - AIG Hospital – IKEA – Inorbit – Durgam Cheruvu road and avoid Hitex Junction and Cyber Towers Junction. Meanwhile, traffic from RC Puram, Chandanaga­r areas towards Madhapur, Gachibowli areas may use BHEL – Nallagandl­a – HCU – Iiitgachib­owli Road and avoid Alwyn – Kondapur road,” said the police.

Heavy vehicles were restricted on a few routes, which include JNTU towards Cyber Towers, Miyapur towards Kothaguda, Kavuri Hills towards Kothaguda, Biodiversi­ty towards JNTU and from Narayanamm­a College towards Gachibowli.

“All the concerned stakeholde­rs and commuters are requested to follow the advisory and cooperate in ensuring smooth flow of traffic,” added the officials.

THE POLICE has also planned traffic diversions to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles.
