KTR takes a dig at BJP’S move to garner support
TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Thursday criticised the BJP for sending party incharges to each of the 119 Assembly constituencies in Telangana state for three days to meet people and seek support as part of BJP’S national executive meeting in Hyderabad.
Rao was addressing a meeting in Telangana Bhavan after inducting several leaders and party workers from Congress and BJP from Kalwakurthy Assembly constituency.
He called upon people in all the 119 constituencies to showcase TRS government’s welfare schemes and development programmes in the last eight years and question them why these initiatives were not being implemented in Bjp-ruled states.
“Show BJP leaders visiting your constituency 24x7 uninterrupted power supply in Telangana to all sectors. Tell them to learn how TRS government is ensuring 24x7 power supply while Bjp-ruled states including PM Modi’s home state Gujarat is facing power
cuts. Show them Mission Bhagiratha tap water in every household. Show them Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, Aasara pensions, Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak schemes of TRS government and ask them to tell if at least one of these schemes is being implemented in BJP ruled states,” Rama Rao said.
Taking a dig at BJP’S national executive meeting in Hyderabad, Rao said, “BJP’S circus is coming to Hyderabad
for two days. There is no use with this. Because BJP leaders only speak blatant lies in the meeting.”
He urged people in all the 119 Assembly constituencies to show at least 15 welfare schemes and development programmes of TRS government for BJP leaders visiting their constituencies and ask them to show at least one such scheme or development programme in their Bjpruled states.
