THERE are a wealth of initiatives in underserved communities across the world focused on increasing access to food, clean water, effective sanitation, energy, housing and other basic needs. But often, technologies intended for these communities fail to reach them due to lack of communication and access to informa- tion. As a result, there is a growing need for a centralised collaboration hub where knowledge and experience can be captured, shared and leveraged.
Engineering for Change is one such hub. It enables a growing community of engineers, technologists, social scientists and NGOs to apply and share appropriate and sustainable technical solutions to achieve transformational results.
