Absurd logic
This is with reference to ` 16 lakh crore (16-31 May, 2015). The idea of salary or economic activity to be added for household work done by women is absurd. Today, society has changed a lot. Husbands too contribute to household work, especially in those homes where both husband and wife have jobs. Marriage means equal and joint responsibilities. If the man is the sole breadwinner, there is nothing wrong in the woman doing household work. She can and should plan the expenses and savings. When she is in control of the finances—and her husband— what is the need for a law?
