Chakka puzhukku (Raw jack­fruit meal)

IN­GRE­DI­ENTS Raw jack­fruit, sliced: 3 cups Grated co­conut: 1 cup Jeera: A pinch Green chillies: 2 Curry leaves Small onions: 5-6 Red chillies: 2 Mus­tard seeds Pep­per pow­der: 1/2 tsp Co­conut oil: 3 tbs Turmeric: 1/4 tsp Salt: to taste METHOD Splut­ter the mus­tard seeds and red chillies in oil. Add onion and curry leaves and saute till trans­par­ent. Add sliced jack­fruit, turmeric, salt, pep­per pow­der and wa­ter and cook for 10-15 min­utes. Set aside. Coarsely grind co­conut, jeera and green chillies. Add this to the jack­fruit mix. Cook over low flame for five min­utes.
