All the eight pan­golin species, four each found in Africa and Asia, have been up­graded to Ap­pendix I, which pro­hibits their com­mer­cial trade The African grey par­rot, heav­ily sought af­ter for the pet trade, has also been up­graded to Ap­pendix I All the nine species of devil rays, three thresher shark species and the silky shark are listed on Ap­pendix II. This im­poses in­ter­na­tional trade re­stric­tions to en­sure that their ex­ports are sus­tain­able and le­gal Par­ties agreed to ban do­mes­tic ivory trade; for the first time ad­dressed cor­rup­tion by adopt­ing a res­o­lu­tion "Pro­hibit­ing, Pre­vent­ing and Coun­ter­ing Cor­rup­tion-Fa­cil­i­tat­ing Ac­tiv­i­ties Con­ducted in Vi­o­la­tion of the Con­ven­tion"
