Down To Earth Editor Sunita Narain made an impassioned plea at the Jaipur Literature Festival for inclusive growth and environmentalism. Citing examples from various spheres of Indian lifewaste management, sewerage, public transport and agriculture Narain laid emphasis on one point: if a society's growth is not inclusive, then it would never be substantive. She urged India's policy makers not to think out-of-the-box, but as if there was no box.
