Jagan Mohan leaves for Davos to participate in WEF annual meeting
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy along with officials have left for Davos in Switzerland to participate in the 52nd annual meeting of World Economic Forum (WEF)-2022 to be held from May 22 to 26.
Reddy, his wife Y S Bharati, daughter YS Varsha Reddy, OSDs P Krishna Mohan Reddy and A Joshi took off for Davos from the Gannavaram International Airport near here by a special flight on Friday.
DGP KV Rajendranath Reddy, Chief Secretary Sameer Sharma, Intelligence Chief P Sitaramanjaneyulu, District Collector Rajint Basha, Krishna District Superintendent of Police Siddharth Kaushal and Protocol director Balasubramanyam were among those who bid farewell to the CM-led team. He’ll return to the State on May 31, officials informed.
Andhra Pradesh, under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has set up a pavilion in Davos with a slogan ‘People-Progress-Possibilities’. The State government is committed for decarbonised economy and it would also focus on investment opportunities
Andhra Pradesh will showcase the strategy followed to curb the pandemic using Testing-Tracing-Treatment method and also the revolutionary measures taken by the government in education, health and development sectors.
His visit will also focus on conventional energy resources and industrial waste treatment.
The meeting will also showcase opportunities in the Bangalore-Hyderabad, Chennai-Bangalore and Visakhapatnam-Chennai corridors to various industry bodies and entrepreneurs. It also describes how well-trained human resources are being developed.
The state of Andhra will showcase how ports will contribute to Industrialisation 4.0.
