After shows cancelled, Justin Bieber reveals his right side face paralysed by virus attack

-

In a shocking revelation, pop sensation Justin Bieber has said that he was suffering from partial facial paralysis. After cancelling shows this week, the 28-year-old singer took to Instagram and revealed that he has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

Sharing a three-minute video, he captioned the post: “IMPORTANT PLEASE WATCH. I love you guys and keep me in your prayers.”

He said, “Obviously, as you can probably see from my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt and it is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves, and has caused my face to have paralysis. As you can see this eye is not blinking. I can’t smile on this side of my face. This nostril will not move. So there’s full paralysis on this side of my face.”

The Baby singer said he was physically unable to perform his upcoming shows but was doing facial exercises and would soon recover.

“This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case, but, obviously, my body’s telling me I’ve got to slow down. I hope you guys understand. I’ll be using this time to just rest and relax and get back to a hundred percent so that I can do what I was born to do.

“It`s just time, and we don`t know how much time that`s going to be.”

Justin Bieber was scheduled perform in India on October 18, as part of his Justice world tour.

Bieber found fame as a 13-year-old and went on to become a global pop phenomenon with songs like Baby and Believe. He has two Grammy wins among 22 nominations, including a record and song of the year nods this year for Peaches.
