Samsung appoints regional president and CEO south-west Asia operations

Samsung has appointed B.D. Park as regional president and CEO of Samsung south west Asia operations and managing director of Samsung India Electronics. Prior to this, Park was head of mobile and IT division at Samsung India as director, mobile and IT.

In the new role, Park will oversee the operations of Samsung India Electronics Pvt Ltd (SIEL), Samsung India Software Operations (SISO), Samsung’s R&D centre at Bengaluru, Samsung India Software Center (SISC) and SEL India, Samsung’s R&D centres at Noida as well as the company’s operations in the SAARC region.
