Portronics’ Charge It lets you charge a tablet via your laptop

Portronics has launched a device called ‘Charge It’ that allows you to charge a mobile device such as a mobile phone or a tablet through your computer using a USB cable.

The charging device is claimed to provide 1.3 A of current, allowing you to charge a tablet in less than 4.5 hours. Most smartphones can be charged within one to two hours-almost the same speed as on an AC adaptor. Smartphones can be charged through a laptop even when the laptop is in sleep mode.

The charger weighs 10 gm and measures 47.5×24×10.8 mm3.
