DUCATI HAS FINALLY launched the Scrambler Café Racer and the Scrambler Desert Sled at 9.32 lakh, ex-showroom, for both bikes.

The Scrambler Café Racer gets clip-on handlebars with bar-end mirrors, swept back seat, 17-inch cast aluminium alloy wheels finished in golden and a matte finish Termignoni exhaust. The ‘54’ decal pays tribute to Bruno Spaggiai, a successful Ducati rider who raced in Mototempor­ada Romagnola in 1968.

The Desert Sled on the other hand gets Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR knobby rubber, an aluminiumu­m handlebar with cross brace and a high front mudguard. There is alsoso a new grille for the headlamp and daa brand new paint job.

The Scrambler Café Racer and nd Desert Sled get Ducati’s air-cooled ed 803cc, L-twin motor that churns out 72bhp and 67Nm of torque. The bikes kes use the same reinforced tubular frameme as seen on the first of the revived ed Scramblers while braking duties are dispensed by a 330mm disc withith Brembo four-piston monobloc calliperse­rs up front and a 245mm disc with a 32mm dia piston calliper at the rear.
