SKODA OCTAVIA RS

Skoda has launched its most powerful car in India, the Skoda Octavia RS. The RS, being the performance-oriented version of the Octavia, gets a 2-litre TSI engine, good for 227bhp of peak power and 350Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed DSG dual clutch gearbox. The Octavia RS does the 0-100 sprint in 6.8 seconds making it the fastest Skoda in India and also the fastest car in its price range. It can go on to an electronically limited top-speed of 250kmph. It boasts of an ‘XDS+’ limited slip differential, variable ratio steering and also sits 15mm lower as compared to the regular Skoda Octavia RS. It also retains all the other bells and whistles of the top-spec Octavia.
