N-LARGO F8
Novitec has given the F8 Tributo the N-Largo treatment and it is mega!
More power, more aero and outrageous styling: Novitec goes wild on the Ferrari F8. Only 15 will be made worldwide though, so the likelihood of one coming to India is rather slim
NOVITEC IS A MASTER AT MAKING already over the top supercars, even more over the top. A prime example is right here in front of us — the F8 N-Largo.
It is obviously based on the Ferrari F8 Tributo but Novitec has added wider bodywork, given it better aerodynamics and in true Novitec fashion, the wick has been turned up not just cosmetically but mechanically too.
Like we’ve seen with other N-Largo models, like the McLaren 720S, the N-Largo F8 also gets a wider body — by 13 centimetres to be precise. This is thanks to a completely new front end with revised aerodynamics and an aesthetic that reminds me more of the Enzo than the F8. The front has a completely new bumper with more angular elements and the splitter underneath also gets flaps for better airflow management. Novitec has also changed the hood to an N-Largo unit which features a new scoop to optimise air circulation, plus the front splitter is more aggressive. There are louvres on top of the (wider) front fenders that relieve built-up air pressure from the wheel well and extract hot air from the brakes. Down the side is a far more pronounced skirt, a pointier
cowl for the side intakes and staggered rims — 21-inch at the front, 22-inch at the rear. The rims have been tailor-made for the N-Largo F8 by Vossen and they are suitably over the top. The rims have a 9J profile at the front and 12J at the rear, shod on 255/30 ZR21 tyres at the front and 335/25 ZR22 tyres at the rear. At the back also sits a more pronounced spoiler, finished here in carbonfibre with a design that gives it almost a ducktail-like profile. Under that spoiler also sits a new integrated spoiler, which is also finished in carbonfibre. All of these additions have allowed for higher downforce compared to the F8 Tributo and better aero efficiency, though Novitec hasn’t mentioned specific numbers. The N-Largo F8 also sits lower than the standard car by 35mm thanks to sport springs which are said to further improve handling, and improve the F8’s stance. There’s an optional lift system available for the front axle which can raise the height by 40mm at the press of a button to clear ramps and speed breakers, and can be used at speeds of up to 80kmph.
Of course, owners can heavily customise their N-Largo F8 beyond this with an exposed carbonfibre treatment for elements such as the front flaps, front fender louvres, side rocker panels, rear spoiler and for the diffuser as well. You could also choose to have any of these panels painted to match (or even contrast) the exterior colour. Further customisation can be done to the N-Largo F8’s interior. While the overall layout stays the same, there are leather and Alcantara upholstery options to choose from with the option to get bespoke designs on them, plus an almost limitless colour palette for the cabin means that each N-Largo F8 will be truly unique.
Now, regardless of what you think of the looks of the N-Largo F8, its performance should be less subjective. Under the new engine cover is the same 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 but plugged into it are two Novitec N-Tronic plug-and-play modules that change the

ignition and injection mapping while also enhancing boost pressure control. The V8 exhales through a new high-performance exhaust system which is made with stainless steel as standard, with an inconel system available as an option. Both versions can be optioned either with or without active flaps. The new exhaust system reduces back pressure and has better heat insulation which can be further improved with optional 999 fine-gold plating. The gold plating can also be applied to the 100-cell catalytic converters if you’re feeling particularly baller. The result of these performance upgrades is an output of 807bhp at 7960rpm and 903Nm coming in at just 3100rpm. This marks an increase of 97bhp and 133Nm over the standard F8, improving the 0-100kmph time from 2.9 seconds to just 2.6 seconds. The 0 to 200kmph time has also been reduced from 7.8 seconds to 7.4 seconds and the N-Largo F8 has a top speed over 340kmph, while the F8 manages 340kmph.
Tempted to buy one? Well, I hate to break it to you but like other N-Largo models, the F8 is being built in limited quantities. Very limited. Just 15 fully-built examples will be made and Novitec is tight-lipped on prices for it. However, Racetech India can help you source individual N-Largo parts such as the high-performance exhaust system or the Vossen rims. How much do these cost? Well the ballpark figure is `6.5 lakh, each for the exhaust and the rims, and it is entirely possible that these parts may be sold out by the time you are reading this. That said, Novitec also has plenty of non N-Largo parts readily available for various high-performance cars that Racetech India can supply to you.
As far as an N-Largo F8 coming to India, Manik Bhardwaj from Racetech says “maybe”. But with India’s supercar scene booming more gloriously than ever, I wouldn’t be surprised to see one of the fifteen make it here. ⌧
