The Tata Altroz, Nexon and Nexon EV join the Harrier in the Dark range
TATA MOTORS HAS BEEN MAKING some really cool cars lately. The Harrier is one of the best looking SUVs especially in the Dark Edition trim. As it turns out, I’m not alone in lusting after an all-black Tata and owing to the popularity of Harrier Dark, the all-black theme has expanded to the Altroz, Nexon and Nexon EV.
The Altroz Dark is painted in a shade called Cosmo Dark and it is complemented by grey 16inch rims, a dark chrome element going across the grille and all-black interiors. The Altroz Dark is available only in the top-spec XZ+ variant with either the nat-asp or i-Turbo petrol engine. The Nexon Dark is finished in a slightly different shade to the Altroz, named Atlas Black and gets 16-inch Charcoal alloys. There’s a hint of chrome on the Nexon Dark’s beltline and a silver faux skid plate, though the interiors are all-black. Unlike the Altroz, the Nexon Dark is available in XZ+, XZA+, XZ+ (O), XZA+ (O) variants, in both petrol and diesel flavours. Finally, we have the Nexon EV Dark. It’s painted in Midnight Black and gets the same Charcoal Grey rims as the ICE-powered Nexon Dark but the silver accents are replaced by satin black ones, while some of the blue accents from the standard Nexon EV remain. The interiors feature a similar black and blue theme to the exterior. The Nexon EV Dark is available in XZ+ and XZ+ Lux variants. Both variants get an armrest for the second row and a 60:40 split rear seat.
Obviously, the Harrier Dark is still here, painted in Oberon Black and sitting on larger 18-inch rims. It gets dark chrome details inside with black upholstery and is available in three variants — XT+, XZ+, XZA+.
Additionally, all the Dark models get a new puncture repair kit included and customers who buy any of these will also get exclusive apparel which includes jackets, t-shirts, caps, among others. Prices for the Altroz Dark start at `8.71 lakh, the Nexon Dark starts at `10.4 lakh, the Nexon EV Dark is priced at `15.99 lakh and finally the Harrier Dark is priced at `18.04 lakh.
