Camille Henrot (1978), lives and works in Paris

I watched Camille Henrot’s hypnotic video, Grosse Fatigue three times in the Arsenale and could not get enough. The work explores man’s attempt throughout time to classify the origins of the universe, paired with a hiphop beat, courtesy of the French DJ Joakin Bouaziz. Henrot won the prestigious Silver Lion Award for this work, commending her as an outstanding young artist to watch out for.
