The new mix

Harper's Bazaar (India) - - BAZAAR STYLE -

...SKIRTS The kedia, a traditional Marwari piece, is one of fall’s must-haves. Originally a men’s style, it is worn with a dhoti. But in keeping with this season’s skirt trend, Aneeth Arora of Péro and Mumbaibased Tanvi Kedia (surname purely coincidental) showed theirs with fitted skirts. To get the look, play with proportions by pairing yours with a miniskirt, or even a fitted pencil skirt with a flared peplum.

CLASH OF PRINTS Because contrasting them is way to wear prints this season, you can wear your kedia anywhere, at any time, with a printed lower. Remember to keep the colours complementary so as not to create too much of a contrast.

From top: BCBG skirt, price upon request. Marni skirt, 48,000 (approx). Falguni & Shane Peacock skirt, price upon

request.
