THE SECRETS OF LONGEVITY

-

In countries such as Japan, China, and Germany, people live beyond 100. Now in India, too, we have started achieving longevity. Blessed are those who cross 100. It is thanks to their devotion. Morarji Desai, Khushwant Singh, Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan, Zora Sehgal, IK Gujral, Jyoti Basu, and Ustad Bismillah Khan almost became centurymakers but average life expectance is still 70. If we follow some golden rules of health, we can live diseasefree up to 100. Eat less, avoid drinking and smoking, be a vegetarian, pray every day, respect your parents, exercise, do yoga and pranayam, and you will have a long life. Shun anger, greed, and lust. Remember God and live for others. What good is a long life if not worth living. DD DHAWAN, JALANDHAR
