South Delhi MC plans to rope in Phogat sisters as brand ambassadors

NEW DELHI : After the success of the Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dangal’, which was based on the story of wrestling coach Mahavir Phogat and his daughters Geeta and Babita Phogat, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation has decided to rope in the sisters as brand ambassadors to promote the concept of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The Phogat sisters will highlight the South Corporation’s achievements apart from its works to improve garbage management. Geeta is India’s first female wrestler to win a gold medal in 2010 Commonwealth
