Patients hassled as PGIMS nurses go on strike in Rohtak
:The patients at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) faced much difficulties on Wednesday as the staff nurses working in the institute, went on a strike, to press for the their demands of wage hike and other allowances.
The PGIMS administration said that adequate alternative arrangements had been made in view of the strike.
However, patients and their attendants said that they had to face inconvenience due to unavailability of nursing staff and patient care services.
The hospital administration maintained that the demands of the nurses have been conveyed to the state authorities and will be taken up in a meeting that is to be held soon.
