Punjab sixth pay panel chairman Mann resigns

Punjab Sixth Pay Commission chairman RS Mann resigned from his post. Mann, a retired IAS officer, sent his resignation to the state government on Tuesday, citing “personal reasons”. His resignation is being seen as linked to the change in government. Ex-chief secretary, Mann was appointed as pay panel chief by SAD-BJP government last year. He refused to elaborate on his reasons for quitting.
