POLITICAL APPOINTEES

Appointment of a battery of advisers and OSDs to the CM is a routine ritual. Unlike in the past when such appointees were given the status of minister, this time, some have been conferred with the status of chief parliamentary secretary, which have been declared unconstitutional by the court. Time has come to do away with this culture, especially going by the fact that such appointments boosts the VIP culture.
