Suspected terror bid foiled at Lahore airport
Pakistan’s security forces on Wednesday foiled a suspected terror bid at the international airport here and seized weapons and ammunition. A vehicle was stopped and searched by the ASF personnel at the airport, and during a routine inspection a weapon and a large cache of ammunition was found in the vehicle, officials told Dawn. The driver of the vehicle, a resident of Lahore, was detained by the ASF and was handed over to the police.
