AAP’s Punjab wing will be restructur­ed, says Aman Arora

AMRITSAR: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will be restructur­ed with an aim to solidify its foundation in all the districts of the state, said Sunam MLA and co-president of party’s state unit, Aman Arora.

“The process will soon be completed,” he said. Arora was here on Monday to interact with the party volunteers her at the Art Gallery.

The MLA’s visit to the holy city is part of his state-wise tour to meet the volunteers to listen to their views before finalising new structure in the atate as well as the districts. Arora said, “The state will be divided into four zones - Majha, Doaba, Malwa 1 and Malwa 2.” “The assembly constituen­cies will be divided into three blocks that will be further split into circles,” he said.

“The volunteers have worked hard, as a result of which AAP emerged as main Opposition party within few years of its formation, which is an achievemen­t for any party”, he said. “It is my duty to listen to the grievances of volunteers who have felt neglected,” he said.

National Council Member Ashok Talwar, Harinder Singh, Kuljit Singh, Kuldeep Dhaliwal, Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjer, Sarabjot Singh, Jagot Singh, Col. Sewa Singh, Satapal Sokhi, Vijay Mehta, Jeevanjot Kaur, professor HS Walia, Sarabjit Ghuman, Mandeep Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Dr Prahlad Duggal, Harpreet Bedi, Anil Mahajan, Anil Maini along with other volunteers were also present.

The AAP MLA also conducted a meeting with workers at Khadoor Sahib.
