A cross FIR (first information report) for sodomy with children has been registered against the 17-year-old boy who was stripped and brutalised with iron rod few days ago at Bachra village on outskirts of Tarn Taran.

The matter came to limelight on June 6 after a video regarding the same went viral on social media.

The video revealed the boy was assaulted naked, and an iron rod inserted in his rectum, by some villagers to purportedly avenge his alleged act of sodomy with their children on May 31. However, compromise was struck by between both sides, as per police officials.

When the video went viral, the boy’s family had complained to the police on Tuesday, and a case was registered under Section 377 (unnatural intercourse) of the Indian penal Code (IPC), against four persons— Harpal Singh, Balwinder Singh, Gobind Singh and Baljinder Kaur—for allegedly brutalising the boy, in city police station.

On the other hand, a complaint has already been lodged against the boy seeking action against him for the act of sodomy, despite the compromise.

After medical examination of the three children, with whom the boy allegedly indulged in unnatural intercourse, proved the accusations made by parents of these children true, a cross case was registered against him.

In the cross FIR, the mother of one of the victims alleged that the accused had a computer at home and used to call children of the age of 5 to 11 from neighbourhood on pretext of playing video games.

“On May 30, my 11-year-old child went to his house. I was waiting him for long but when he did not come back, I went to his house to inquire. I saw that he was performing unnatural sex on my child. On seeing me, he fled, ” she stated in the complaint.

However, no arrest has been made in connection with both the FIRs.
