BKU members to take yoga route to protest

KARNAL: Accusing the BJP government of ignoring farmers’ demands, the Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) has decided to protest against the government by performing Hath Yoga in all districts of the state on June 21— International Yoga Day.

On Sunday, several farmers reached the grain market in Gharunda and practised Hath Yoga.

According to the farmers, the decision was taken to oppose the government’s move of ignoring farmers.

BKU’s state president Ratan Mann also threatened to block the highways in several districts for three hours on June 21. HTC
