UN chief Guterres set to name new Libya envoy

United Nations secretary-general Antonio Guterres is set to name a former Lebanese minister as the new UN envoy to Libya. Guterres on Friday put forward Ghassan Salame, a professor of International Relations and Conflict Resolution. The previous candidate, former Palestinian premier Salam Fayyad, was rejected by the US because of his nationality.
