In a short span of 7 years Asian Educationa­l Institute has made a progressiv­e way in academics, sports, and cultural arena. It is the only selffinanc­ed Institute in the region that has got permanent affiliatio­n from Punjabi University, Patiala and recognised by UG C under section 2(f) and 12(B) .Seminars, Workshops on various social issues like drug abuse, women empowermen­t & awareness and organic farming, etc. are organised frequently. The college has adopted village Kasiana and conducted activities of Red Ribbon Society; many NSS activities held including blood donation camp and cleanlines­s camp; 7 INSPIRE programs(2013 onwards) have been conducted for the holistic developmen­t of students. Students excel in various fields and bring laurels to the college. Here, Students strike a balance between curriculum and co- curriculum. Students of MBA, M.COM, B.Sc Agricultur­e and B.Lib witness 100% results (201617). On the other hand B.SC (CSM) sem V and B.COM sem V ,B.COM sem III and B.SC (CSM) sem III, BCA sem 1 and B.COM sem 1 obtained above 80% + in 2016-17. Student of M.Sc Chemistry was adjudged best actress in the zonal youth festival, Punjabi University Patiala. Students of B.A (H) Eng obtained 2nd and 3rd positions (sem V ) in University exams and recently won overall winning trophy in English Language and Literature Quiz Competitio­n, March 2017 conducted by University College, Ghanour. In sports, students won medals in Judo, Half Marathon race ( national level ) and Taekwondo inter-college competitio­ns. It's a due to the combined efforts of students and their mentors. Asian Educationa­l Society ensures speedy work mechanism, facilitate­s beyond classroom experience to the students and follows result- oriented approach. Various new courses have also been started with the approval of University from the session 20172018 notably-- B.Sc ( Hons ) Maths, M.Sc Physics and M.A. English Besides this, the college runs various scholarshi­ps schemes for meritoriou­s and needy students-providing free education to girl students above 85% marks in the qualifying exam, free transporta­tion to students with 80% marks under the scheme, "BETI BACHO, BETI PADAHO" a govt scheme for girls students. The management is pleased to offer free transport facility from Dukhniwara­n Sahib to Asian Campus.
