Khattar, Modi antifarmer leaders: Surjewala
HISAR: Senior Congress leader and All India Congress Committee (AICC) communication in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala handed over a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar . He also accused Khattar and Modi of being “anti-farmer leaders”. Surjewala was attending a farmers’ dharna organised in front the Hisar deputy commissioner’s office on Friday.
“During Modi’s rally in Kurukshetra, he assured that farmers will get support rate of their crop and an extra bonus of 50%. Now killing of six farmers in MP’s Mandsaur has cleared the picture.” He alleged that the Modi government was working for big business houses only and that they hushed-up debts worth ₹400 crore of 19 “big people”.
