DC reviews flood control arrangements at Dhussi Bundh

KAPURTHALA : Deputy commissioner (DC) Mohammad Tayyab conducted a whirlwind tour of Dhusi Bandh along Beas river on Friday to review arrangements for the rainy season. Accompanied by officers of civil and military administration, the DC visited villages near Dhusi Bandh and inspected the arrangements for flood control. He also asked the officials to put a viable mechanism for completing all flood control arrangements. He said the district administration has already made adequate arrangements to meet any situation.
