Three held with drugs, stolen bikes

KAPURTHALA: City police arrested three persons and recovered drugs and two stolen bikes from their possession on Friday. The accused were identified as Mukhtyar Singh, Gurdeep Singh and Thakur Singh of Kapurthala. Police recovered 200-gm intoxicant powder and 105 tablets from their possession. The accused have also confessed to stealing two mobiles from a local resident last month. A case under sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) and Indian penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the accused.
