2 die in group clash in Ferozepur

FEROZEPUR: In a clash between two groups, two men, cousins, were killed at Chak Pale Kee villager in Guru Har Sahai subdivision on Monday. Another two men were injured.

The accused Nachatar Singh and his accomplices fired indiscriminately killing Lakhwinder Singh, 22, and Beant Singh (23) on the spot. Harmandeep Singh and Gurjinder Singh sustained injuries and have been referred to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot.

The fight had started on Sunday and families of the men had also got involved. The family members had also entered into a scuffle in which three women — Jaspal Kaur, Satnam Kaur and Jasbir Kaur sustained multiple injuries.

A case has been registered under various charges , including murder,against 11 people in this connection. Two of the accused have been held, while a hunt is on for the others, said Ferozepur SSP Gaurav Garg. HTC
