TWO YEARS ON, 3 BOOKED FOR KILLING MAN

TARN TARAN: The change in state government has finally brought justice to an elderly couple whose son,24, went missing two and a half years ago. The police have finally registered a case of murder against three persons of Kot Jaspat village, 20 km from here, on Sunday.

The accused has been identified as Kuldeep Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Baljinder Singh of the same village.

In his complaint, the victim’s father Narinder Singh ,50, said, “On December 2014, Kuldeep, Sukhdev and Baljinder came to our house and asked for our son Jagroop Singh to help them in labour work.”

“My son did not return till late hours. After which I and my wife S ha ranjitKa ur went to Kul deep, Sukh dev and Balj ind er’ s houses inquiring about our son,” said Narinder.

The trio told us that Jagroop had been gone already, said the victim’s fathers.

“We searched everywhere for our son but to no avail,” he complained. He said that after few days, Kuldeep Singh told us that we should not wait for our son.

We approached the police many times to get a case registered against them but police under political pressure failed to book them, said Narinder .

Meanwhile a case under Sections 302 , 201 , 120 B and 34 of the IPC was registered against the accused. The accused are absconding.
