Roger Federer’s achievement in winning his eighth Wimbledon title is indeed monumental, considering the injuries he has faced in the last year and the time he had to stay away from the court. He does not give up and is truly an inspiration. He is also a fine person and speaks glowingly of his colleagues. As he received the trophy, he complimented his opponent, Marin Cilic, in the final by saying that he was a hero. What grace and poise from the champion. Such comments reflect a true winner. Cilic would be happy and Federer has won many hearts across the world.
